Behold Audi’s Flying Car

In the future, gasoline may no longer fuel our automobiles, and ground cars could be a topic of rumors and speculation about the past. Audi is making strides towards this time of skyways and flying cars with their Calamaro concept.  Designed by Tibor initially for a contest sponsored by Porsche Hungary, this vessel is “inspired by the bone of a cuttlefish.”  We doubt a cuttlefish can also fly and operate on land, which is what Audi hopes to achieve with this concept. Imagine starting your day pulling off your driveway and right into traffic. With your Calamaro, simply flip a switch and rise up to the clouds. Wind too turbulant for you? Just take a quick nose dive into the ocean and scuba your way to work…if you work on one of the coasts, or Pittsburgh.  Special Thanks to Audi & Jalopnik for this one

  1. Imagine all those a**holes speaking on celular phones and driving at the same time… imagine drunk people flying over your head at high speed… imagine women trying to park this thing that now requires 3D abilities, not just 2d… so, forget about this crap of “flying car”
