Car manufacturer Audi is proud to present their A6 mid-size luxury vehicle to the American market. This car has gone through a great deal of evolution, willing World Car of the Year in 2005, and it returns in 2008 with only the best potential. After the impressive 2005 model, many would find it hard to believe it could get any better. Audi has defied those expectations.

On the inside both the sedan and wagon has luxurious leather seating for five; all are kept comfortable with automatic climate control. The driver gets an optimal control center with a large tachometer and speedometer, and a Multi Media Interface system consisting of a 7” color screen; from here, you can control the optional navigation system, music settings, interior conditions and more. Lucky A6 owners also receive cruise control, power functions and the highest comfort with adaptive air suspension. The outside of the car matches the lavish interior and features the specific styling details that make Audi cars shine on the road. The car also harnesses power with a base 3.1-L V6 engine that can produce 255 horsepower; there is also an available 4.2-L V8 capable of 350 horsepower. Two transmissions are available and they include a six-speed automatic with semi-manual functioning and a continuously variable automatic transmission.

Another thing is certain; safety was considered in the making of the A6. Along with the customary frontal airbags, occupants stay safe with sideguard curtain airbags and side-impact airbags. The A6 also features other well-known safety technologies such as an electronic stability system, superior antilock brakes, a rearview camera and more. A new valuable tool incorporated into the cars design is the lane assist, which alerts the driver when they are shifting out of their lane. You’ll definitely save money on coffee!

It is strongly recommended to check out this new 2008 model!

  1. I recently leased a A6 4.2L. We drove it abotu 40 miles in three days and the car died while in motion. My Audi dealer has had the car for over a week and claims that the alternator was faulty. Dont they check these things in advance before delivery. The dealer and service were cordial but very hesitant to accept any responsibility. If there is another problem with the car I want a new car or my money back. I leased a new car under the assumption that it would work.
